The establishment of the Institut Burundais pour la Formation Professionnelle (IBFP) is currently underway. This Private institution is strategically designed to function as a crucial accelerator for Burundi’s long-term development goals, directly supporting the national transition toward an Emerging Country by 2040 and a Developed Country by 2060.
Unlike traditional academic institutions that focus on long-cycle degrees for school leavers, the IBFP is being built with a distinct mandate: to provide immediate, high-impact upskilling for the existing employed workforce, business owners, and entrepreneurs.
